Location + Hours

  • Studio Sollo, 129 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9QG.

    You can find us directly opposite the canal, next to Evan’s Cycles.

  • There’s limited on street parking nearby. Fountain Park has plenty of parking and is an 8-minute walk from the studio.

  • On weekdays, the first class of the day starts from 6am and the final class ends at 9pm.

    At the weekend the first class starts at 8am and finishes at 7:45pm.

  • We have 1 changing room, lockers and a WC at the studio, but no showers. There are plenty of mirrors too.

  • There are 14 classes a day through the week and 12 a day at the weekend.

  • The studio uses an automated entry system and is designed to run without any staff, however there will often be someone at reception. If you need to get in touch with someone for any reason we have contact details that are shared when you join.

  • A toilet, lockers, coat hooks, shoe storage, changing room and a tap for filling up water bottles.

  • There are 6x Align-Pilates C8-S Pro Reformers, soft Pilates balls, Magic Circles, boxes + blocks. We also have grip mats available.

Classes

  • Our pre-recorded classes allow us to offer high-quality reformer Pilates at a lower cost, without compromising on instruction or experience. Each class is meticulously designed and demonstrated by expert instructors, ensuring they’re consistent and easy to follow.

    With large screens and clear audio cues, you’ll always have a front-row view of each move and seamless, easy-to-follow guidance from start to finish.

  • Pay as you go video-led classes are £10 per 30 minute class or £12 per 45 minute class.

    Our teacher-led classes are £20 per class (or £10 for Members) and the Open Sessions are £10 for 45 minutes.

    You can also sign up for a monthly membership which allows you to book unlimited classes per month. Our membership is £80 per month.

  • Yes! Our classes are designed for both beginners and those with more experience, so you can start at a level that feels right for you.

    If it’s your first time (or your first time in a while), we recommend starting with our Introduction class, it’s the perfect way to get familiar with the reformer and learn the foundational exercises that make up a Sollo class. From there, you’ll be ready to jump into any class on the timetable at your own pace.

  • There are lockers to store any belongings and you won’t need anything in the studio room except a water bottle + your grippy socks.

  • Any active wear is suitable, but we do recommend tighter clothes so you can keep check of your alignment in the mirrors. We also require gripped socks to be worn during class.

  • Reformer Pilates has surged in popularity in recent years and for good reason. It’s more than just a trend, it’s an incredibly effective, low-impact workout that strengthens, tones and improves mobility. While some of the hype is new, the method isn’t. Reformer Pilates has been a staple in fitness and rehabilitation for decades.

    At Studio Sollo, we’re making it more accessible than ever, so everyone can enjoy the benefits.

  • There are 6 spaces in each class.

  • We’d recommend 2 or 3 classes per week to feel the benefits quickly, but you’ll feel the impact of a class whenever you can fit one in.

  • Light injuries may be suitable depending on the area and stage of recovery. Please check with your doctor/physio first and email us before booking so we can advise whether the class is appropriate.

    For safety reasons, pregnant clients can only attend teacher-led classes.

    Our video-led and open sessions are not suitable during pregnancy, as they do not allow for real-time coaching, screening or individual modification.

    If you’re pregnant, please get in touch before booking so we can help you choose which class is suitable.

  • Open Sessions offer 45 minutes of reformer time for self-practice. Spaces are limited to 6 people, so if you’re training with a teacher, you’ll each have to book a space.

Booking + Memberships

  • Classes are available to book 10 days in advance.

  • We offer a 6-hour cancellation window. If you cancel late or miss the class, you’ll be charged £5.

  • Every class has a waitlist you can join + you’ll be notified by email if you’ve been booked into the class.

  • Yes! We offer a monthly membership at £80, charged automatically each month. You’re free to cancel whenever you need to.


    Your membership gives you unlimited access to all Video-led classes and Open Sessions.
    Members can also book Teacher-Led classes for £10 (£20 for non-members).

  • You can access all of the 30 and 45 minute video classes as well as the Open Sessions, at any time in the day.

    Members also benefit from 50% off all Teacher-Led Classes. Members can pay a £10 supplement to book a Teacher-Led class (£20 for non-members).

  • Unlimited Memberships are billed monthly and have no fixed term. If you’d like to cancel, you can get in touch with us at any time by emailing us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

  • Yes! We have 2 Class Packs available. You can find out more here.

  • You can use your 5 classes anytime within 8 weeks of purchase. They are a one-off purchase (no auto-renewal).
    Please note packs cannot be paused or extended

  • Yes, the 6-hour cancellation policy applies.

    If you cancel your class less than 6 hours before it starts, you’ll be charged a £5 fee. If you miss the class, you’ll be charged a £5 fee and your class credit will be forfeited. This is to allow anyone on the waitlist a chance to attend.

  • As long as you feel comfortable using a reformer without instruction. Open Sessions are self-guided, so they suit people who already know the basics, are training as teachers, or enjoy following along with online workouts (just bring headphones if you plan to watch or listen to one).

    If you’re completely new to reformer, we’d recommend starting with a guided class first.

  • All classes are suitable for newcomers, but we suggest starting with our Introduction Class if you’re completely new to reformer. It’s a great way to learn the basics and build confidence.

    There’s also the option to book a Teacher-led class if you’d prefer in-person guidance and support.
